Applied Intuition, global industry experts in physical AI technologies, has launched Dana, a new agentic platform for building, testing, deploying and operating intelligent machines across industries. The platform combines agentic AI and rapid application development with nearly a decade of Applied Intuition’s data, simulation, infrastructure, workflows and engineering expertise. The result is a unified environment designed to accelerate the safe development of physical AI systems for automotive, defense, trucking, robotics, construction, mining and agriculture applications.

Unlike general-purpose AI tools created primarily for digital workflows, Dana is designed for machines that must perceive, make decisions and operate safely in real-world environments. The platform brings together data management, visualization and development tools with the evaluation, traceability and governance capabilities required for safety-critical systems. Applications include autonomous and software-defined vehicles, advanced driver assistance systems, truck fleet management, industrial robotics, mining and construction operations, and intelligent in-vehicle experiences.

The Applied Intuition Dana agentic platform supports the development, testing and deployment of physical AI systems for automotive applications.

Customers can deploy Applied Intuition’s reference applications for autonomy, fleet operations and other physical AI use cases or use Dana to develop their own applications. Natural-language and command-line interfaces allow engineering teams to complete complex development tasks and accelerate iteration across tools, teams and systems. Dana can also integrate with enterprise systems and collaboration platforms, including Slack and Jira, helping organizations connect fragmented engineering and operational workflows while embedding agentic capabilities throughout the development process.

Applied Intuition has used Dana internally since 2025 to build and deliver solutions for customers across automotive, trucking, mining and agriculture. The company reports that Dana’s agent-driven workflows have reduced some critical phases of vehicle development from months to days. By retaining context as work moves between data preparation, simulation, training, evaluation and deployment, the platform is designed to reduce the time engineering teams spend transferring information between disconnected tools and development environments.

Applied Intuition has also provided limited early access to select customers, including Isuzu Motors and heavy equipment manufacturer Komatsu. Isuzu Motors is using Dana to accelerate the development of Level 4 autonomous capabilities for its commercial truck fleet, giving its engineering teams a common environment for developing, tracking and deploying autonomous vehicle technologies.
